Help us shape the climate hazard reporting toolkit

We invite media organisations across Europe to help us better understand the challenges they face when reporting on climate hazards.
Your survey responses, together with the insights from our collaboration with the four grantee newsrooms of the Climate Frontline Project, will contribute to the development of the Climate Hazard Reporting Toolkit.
This survey will help us demonstrate how the media can play a stronger role in keeping communities informed and decision-makers accountable.
The Toolkit will be a free, publicly available online resource for journalists and newsrooms and will be launched in the first half of 2026.
As a thank you for filling out the survey, you will have the option to receive early access to the Climate Hazard Reporting Toolkit, before its public launch next year.
The survey is open until 31 October 2025.
It takes about 10 minutes to complete, and your contribution will be invaluable in shaping future support and resources for media and journalists working on the critical issues of reporting on climate hazards and climate change.
The survey is carried out in the context of the Climate Frontline Project, a one-year initiative, co-created by the European Journalism Centre and REVOLVE, which aims to support local newsrooms, with a focus on Spain and Portugal, and equip them to better inform and engage communities on climate risks.
