Practical Details

The News Impact Summit in Warsaw, in partnership with Google News Initiative, is a leading journalism event that explores AI as a strategic ally for producing high-quality journalism that keeps up with the newest technological developments while remaining focused on serving public interest.

While AI is influencing every sector, many professionals still lack practical insights into how to use it confidently and responsibly. For this reason, The Summit is designed as an opportunity to bring together ideas, experiences, and perspectives that demonstrate how AI can be a valuable and practical tool for journalism, while promoting integrity, transparency, and trust in European journalism.

The Summit is a fantastic opportunity for journalists and media professionals to convene in a space for dialogue, growth, and the development of their skills and professional outlook. Through curated panels, interactive workshops and case-driven sessions, the Summit will equip attendees with hands-on resources and fresh perspectives to embed AI in their editorial work.

What the Summit offers:

  • Real-world best practices for enhancing reporting efficiency with AI tools
  • Practical AI applications for audience engagement, research, investigation and storytelling support
  • Clear ethical frameworks for responsible AI use in journalism
  • Network opportunities with over 200 media professionals in the field of AI in journalism

Please note that the European Journalism Centre (EJC) is unable to provide visas, invitation letters, or stipends to cover travel and accommodation expenses for attendees.
