Answer our first-ever EJC survey and let us know.

The EJC is sharing this survey to hear from you about the topics and challenges surrounding journalism and the media industry that you consider a priority. This will help us to keep building the programmes and providing the support that can help you and your team produce better journalism and create sustainable media organisations. If you are a staff journalist, a freelancer or a programme manager supporting the media industry we would love to hear more about your needs and preferences.

By filling out our survey you will help the EJC understand:

  • What are the main challenges faced by the journalism community in the coming year?
  • What are the current priorities of journalists based in Europe?
  • How can non-profit organisations better support the journalism community?

Hoping to inform the media support landscape, we will share a summary of the key findings. The survey is GDPR compliant.

Journalists, media professionals and colleagues working to support journalism that is based in the following 46 European countries can participate. The survey is available in English, French, Dutch and Spanish.

To thank you for your support, we will support one participant to attend the International Journalism Festival in Perugia and cover the expenses for travel and accommodation. This person will be selected at random. The only requirement for you to participate is that you must be based in one of the following 46 countries.
