For over 32 years, the European Journalism Centre has been at the forefront of supporting, strengthening and developing journalism. From helping young people get into the media workspace to funding cross-border investigations, we provide journalists with the resources and opportunities they need to produce reliable, trustworthy, and verified information.

In an era of increasing pressure on journalism, we believe it plays a critical role in defending freedom of expression, making governments and societies function better and enabling strong democracies.

It is our mission that every journalist and news organisation benefits from an EJC programme or initiative. Your donation will help us achieve this.

You will directly support initiatives that strengthen journalism:

• Funding opportunities: Support journalism with grants, fellowships, training, and awards. In recent years, funding opportunities have enabled media innovation and facilitated journalism to tell impactful stories. 
• Events: Conferences, workshops and Summits strengthen journalism by sharing knowledge, experiences and networking opportunities.
• Resources: Over 140 handbooks, online courses and guides enable journalism to develop
