Although audio recording and editing has become as easy as drag-and-drop, journalists should not forgo the quest for quality.
“I am not a big fan of people starting to talk into a microphone just for fun. Those kinds of podcasts usually last for hours and you'll never listen to them again. Apart from that it's quite easy: Think about what you want to tell people and do it," says Marcus Bösch, who teaches online journalism at the DW Academy.
